- Add some color to your world. Painting is an inexpensive way to liven up your house. Do your walls still show that industrial-style white that the homebuilder used? Now’s the time to set aside a weekend and make your walls come alive. Choose cool colors for the bathroom and bedrooms, and add a splash of a darker mixture to the entryway and living room. Show your personality and warm up your home!
